Angry Letter Addressed to William Tate Regarding His Support of the Integration Process at the University of Georgia

William Tate's Support of the Integration Process at UGA

This letter, which is anonymous, attacks Tate's admission of two African American students into the University of Georgia. Furthermore, the author compares Tate's actions to those of Judas', while arguing that Tate is an operative for the N.A.A.C.P. This aggravated letter depicts part of the range of emotive responses that Tate received following his support, as Dean of Men, of the Integration Process of 1961.
